中華職棒聯盟今天舉行年度選秀會，有九十三人報名是史上最盛大的一次；擁有第一輪第一指名的義大犀牛隊，選中前旅美好手林哲瑄。

林哲瑄現年二十六歲，他是繼陳金鋒、胡金龍之後，第三名登上美國職棒大聯盟的台灣野手，擁有大聯盟等級的外野守備範圍與跑壘腳程。

林哲瑄二○一二年效力波士頓紅襪隊，當年他在大聯盟出賽九場，十二個打數敲出三安打，打擊率二成五。
